Execution
The project was split into two sections; first set of tasks was optimising the existing content for search engines and creating a sitemap that had assigned keywords to pages to visualise for the team's help. This is one of the most effective ways of recovering 'lost' traffic when a few key tweaks and some site structure changes is all it takes.
Secondly, producing a set of templates and guides for the Night Slides team to follow when creating new content was what empowered them to publish more and see results quicker. The content marketing strategy enabled the team to find cluster topics to focus on instead of relying on a randomised approach to content publishing. Which Google dislikes!
